Check out the amazing story behind Saucy Joe’s – the brainchild of Chef Joel Basumatari from Nagaland. Joel’s passion for cooking and love for flavourful food inspired him to create a brand offering saucy delights and traditional beverages from Nagaland. To give the brand a fresh, personalized look, we designed a modern yet quirky caricature of Chef Joel as the brand identity. This included a stylish, hand-drawn wordmark that captures the brand’s unique personality. Our designs also featured different expressions of a chef’s hand and playful food elements, creating a timeless look that will stand out on shelves for years to come. We chose a bold black as the primary colour to ensure the packaging stays pristine, while adding warm red and orange accents to complement the vibrant Flavors of the sauces. It was a blast working on this project, and we’re thrilled with the result!
